Richard J. Birkin was born, raised, and now lives in the middle of Derby. Life now mainly involves writing quiet music as Emphemetry, and making loud music with Crash of Rhinos. It also involves making things for the Mudlark Production Company. He likes adventures, albeit more in the Bagpuss vein than Indiana Jones.
